Add the Sitemaker Compatibility module to your izotz website, then simply follow the directions on the set up. Basically you just need to configure a URL, and decide how you want the module to display content. If you don't have the Sitemaker Compatibility module you can download it from the Tech website. Let us know if you have any problems.

We're at the point we need to run a couple Sitemaker modules in the izotz subsite. How do we do that?

No. That wouldn't even really be useful. If the website is an izotz website, you use the izotz tools to administrate it. None of the Sitemaker tools are relevant. And while you can use some of the izotz tools to manage Sitemaker websites, the Direct Edit tool isn't available in Sitemaker websites.

If we build an izotz website, will the direct edit thing open the Sitemaker tools?

You could also do it backwards, using the Sitemaker Compatibilitiy module from within izotz...but since you're all set up in Sitemaker...it's best to just stick with it until you decide to migrate out of it. If you ever decide that.

Make sure you have Sitemaker set up for using active directory as your authentication system, and make sure it's working right. Install the plug in into Sitemaker like you install any other module. Once installed, you'll then be able to open the izotz admin tool from the Sitemaker izotz plug in. The only way you can get to that izotz admin tool is via an authenticated sitemaker session. In effect you've blended the two systems together. Let me know if you have any trouble. It's pretty idiot proof.

We're ready to tie things together, and want to make sure we do the active directory part right. As I understand it, all we need is the izotz Sitemaker plug in, and then everything works as a single sign on? We have the plug in, should we install it?
